Oh, you’re doing this for us? How selfless.

This was just really done so well. I loved Mitchell and I wanted him and Nina to get along but she had a point. Despite it being heartbreaking as all hell, brill season 3 and I will forever miss it.

Nina and Mitchell’s interactions were the very best part of season three for me. I love love love that she was around to call him on his bullshit (because Mitchell, sweetie, you need someone like that SO MUCH) and I loved any time Sinead and Aidan got to do scenes together.

“You keep showing up. Is this a crush thing?” “Yes, I just can’t resist that wet dog smell of yours.”
After losing the child, Nina knew she could never stay.

It’s in Edinburgh that she runs into Daisy, the vampire only just recovering from a violent attack many months ago. The two of them should have parted that same night with it all coming to nothing, but when they’re forced to rely on each other to survive, things get more complicated. (It surprises and scares Nina how easily she could be Daisy, how much she wants to follow the vampire and tear down the world, fuelled by her own pain and loss. And Daisy? Well, Daisy’s just having fun.)
It isn’t love, and maybe it isn’t even friendship, but it’s something. And when the night is cold and loneliness closes in, that’s better than nothing.
